Just because a job is complicated doesn’t mean the pricing should be. At AME Movers we don’t believe in this don’t ask, don’t tell guessing game. Our simple price plan is just that, simple. For local moves, we charge a one time industry standard travel fee + an all inclusive hourly price, that’s it! Our local moving service hourly price includes a Box Truck, Mover/Packer, Fuel, Insurance, Dollies, Pads, Plastic Wrap, Tools, Elbow Grease, Years Of Knowledge & Know How. Our local packing service hourly price includes that of our moving services plus all standard packing supplies, such as, boxes, tape, and wrapping paper. There are no stairs, admin, piano or gun safe fees. It’s kind of like knowing what you are going to pay for, before you pay. Wow, what a brilliant idea.

Do Out of Town Moves Have Hidden Fees?
Out of town moves are much more complex. Because of this we do charge other fees. The fees are:
Over Night Fee: $250/Night
This fee covers lodging and food.
Travel Fee: $3.24/Mile for two movers and a truck
This fee is for travel to and from AME local zones. Long distance customers will only pay this for travel time and not the hourly rate.
Do Commercial Jobs Have Hidden Fees?
Commercial jobs can be extremely complex. We love understanding what we are getting into before getting to the job when it comes to commercial moves. For example we had to move a 2000 lb roll of turf but could not use any machinery because it was on already laid turf.
Sometimes commercial jobs need a game plan to know how we are going to accomplish our goal. So the answer to the question is we will give a detailed quote on the scope of the job. This insures that, we as the mover, will understand the scope of the job and you, as the customer, will understand the process of the job.
